Watch Jay-Z Give His Drink to Fan Who Went In for a Fist Bump at Beyoncé Show

The viral moment went down during Beyoncé's recent Toronto concert. "I was in disbelief," the fan said.

Jay-Z was clearly in a generous mood.

The hip-hop mogul made headlines this week for his unexpected—and now-viral—interaction with a fan. The moment took place on July 9 during Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour stop in Toronto, where Isik McCallum filmed his brief run-in with Mr. Carter. As seen in the TikTok below, Isik is standing in the crowd as Bey performs “Formation,” when all of a sudden he turns around and requests a fist bump from someone who is out of the frame.

A few seconds later, we see the fan is talking to Bey’s husband, who is standing behind a gate with a pair of shades and a glass of champagne in his hand. Isik continues to reach out for a fist bump, but receives something arguably better.

“I went up to [Jay-Z] and asked for a simple Dap and he gave me his drink!!!!!” McCallium captioned the clip. “I was in disbelief and shaking afterwards!”

The video then shows Isik gleefully accepting the drink, before saying, “OK, thank you!”

But that wasn’t Isik’s only highlight of the event. The content creator also posted a video of him at the concert with a large sign that read “It’s my mom’s B-Day!” Isik posted footage of Bey performing just feet away, before she says, “Happy birthday.”

“Son of the year award goes to me!” he wrote in the caption. “Thank you @beyonce for making my mom’s birthday something to really remember!!!!”

Although Jay has been in the limelight for decades, he isn’t a fan of being filmed in public. The Roc Nation boss demonstrated this during the same July 9 concert, when another attendee began filming Hov and his mom, Gloria Carter, doing the Electric Slide during Beyoncé's performance of the “Before I Let Go” remix. The video showed the mother and son dancing along to the music before Jay realized they were being filmed. Hov then looked at the concertgoer and waves his finger, prompting the fan to put down their camera and stop recording.

Hov spoke about his aversion to cameras during a Tidal interview back in February.

“We don’t come from that school,” the 53-year-old explained. “We come from the don’t-you-ever-record-us-school. What was the line? ‘See me in shit you never saw/If it wasn’t for these pictures you wouldn’t see me at all?’ We come from that school and we had fights over that. N***as trying to record—‘Ayo, don’t record me, champ. I ain’t into that.’ We come from a different world.”
